The Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) is the professional organization for pediatric hematology/oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals in this field. Our mission is to support and advance nurses in optimizing outcomes for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families throughout the continuum of care for blood disorders and cancers. APHON members are dedicated to promoting optimal nursing care for these patients, ensuring they receive the highest standards of practice and care. From playfully encouraging a child to take their medicine to making critical decisions that save lives, pediatric hematology/oncology nurses truly make a difference in the lives of their patients.
