Method of Review: The Evidence Based Practice Protocol Review Subcommittee conducted a group review of the clinical guideline. As this protocol has been endorsed by the Children’s Oncology Group, and expedited review was done without using the AGREE guidelines1. The committee read through the guideline and a consensus was reached regarding the recommendation for endorsement.
Review Summary: This is well written, well referenced guideline that makes research- based sound recommendations for clinical management. Although written for use for patients in Canada, the recommendations can be safely translated to practice for patient in the United States.
