Whether you’re new to the nursing specialty or nearing retirement, APHON offers a supportive community and valuable resources for every stage of your career.
Active Membership
For registered nurses practicing in or interested in pediatric, adolescent, or young adult hematology/oncology.
Eligible to vote and hold elected office and serve on committees.
Active International
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses from middle-low-income countries receive a discount on the active annual membership fee. Rates vary based on the country where the member resides. Learn more below.

Emeritus
APHON members who have retired from nursing practice, or reached the age of 65+. Must have ten (10) years of continuous APHON membership. Not eligible to hold office, however, they may vote and participate on APHON committees and task forces.
Associate
For non-registered nurse healthcare professionals who care for children, AYAs with cancer and blood disorders and their families and who are interested in APHON’s mission. May serve on volunteer task forces and committees, however are not eligible to vote or hold an elected office.
Graduate Nursing Students
Registered nurses enrolled full-time in graduate nursing programs are not eligible to vote or hold elected office but may serve on volunteer task forces and committees. Documentation is required.
NSNA Student Members
APHON is a proud partner of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA). Undergraduate nursing students’ may join APHON at a reduced rate and receive student-specific benefits. They may serve on volunteer task forces and committees but are not eligible to vote or hold elected office.

Active International Membership for middle-low income countries
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses from middle-low-income countries receive a reduced rate on the active membership fee. Tier 1: Upper-Middle Income Economy Countries $48 USD
Upper middle-income economies have a GNI per capita between $3,956 and $12,235, and high-income economies are those with a GNI per capita of $12,236 or more.
Members who reside in the following countries would receive a 60% discount on their membership:

Low-income economies are defined as those with a GNI per capita, calculated using the World Bank Atlas method, of $1,005 or less.

The Association of Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurses (APHON) does not process or provide refunds on membership dues purchases. Your investment is good for one year after the purchase date.
We understand situations arise where a member may request a refund in which case we ask that you reach out to the APHON membership team.
Please make sure to check out the abundance of resources and discounted products and courses available to you throughout the year as part of your membership benefit. APHON reserves the right to amend your membership to reflect the appropriate category and/or rate. The member or purchaser is responsible to cover the difference of cost.
APHON offers a group membership rate for groups of 10 or more nurses from the same institution. The group rate applies to Active, Associate, and Graduate Student members only and the membership is valid for 12 months. Contact us to get started.
