Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Discuss the importance of flushing techniques in maintaining TCVC patency.
- Summarize the evidence supporting the current flushing frequency of TCVCs in children/AYA with cancer.
- Describe the positive-pressure and push-pause flushing techniques.
Credits
Upon successful completion of this course, nurses will earn 1 CNE. There are no pharmacology hours associated with this activity.
