We have provided a justification letter for all attendees who need support from their employers to attend the APHON Annual Conference. 

Cancellation Policy

What happens if I purchase my registration but can no longer attend?

We are happy to transfer your registration to another individual at no charge. We are also happy to switch an in-person ticket to virtual at no charge.

If you still need to cancel please note:

  • All refunds will be charged a $40 processing fee.
  • Up until August 8, 2024 – 50% refund plus processing fee. This will be a full cancellation – no access to virtual component.
  • August 9, 2024 and after – No refund permitted, but registration can be changed to a virtual attendance or transfer to another attendee at no charge.

APHON recommends attendees secure trip insurance that will cover all travel costs including your conference registration. Any requests for a cancellation due to hardship need to be submitted in writing with a full explanation. If approved, a $40 processing fee will be applied. Requests will be review by the Executive Director and APHON Treasurer. Exceptions could be death in immediate family, long-term hospitalization and rehabilitation care, or early maternity leave. The hardship would need to not only impact the days of the live conference but also weeks of the virtual education access.
